Nestled in the magnificent Slanghoek Valley on the slopes of the Badsberg Conservancy you will find the Slanghoek Mountain Resort. It is a haven for those who can appreciate spectacular views and the natural beauty of the indigenous fynbos. The valley offers adventure filled walks for nature lovers. To accommodate you, we have self catering chalets and tented camp as well as camping with own tent or caravan. This valley can be visited throughout the year as each season reveals its own secret beauty.

CHALETS 01 TO 04
These twin chalets sleep 6 persons each. They each have 2 bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with inside and outside braai.

CHALET 05
This chalet has one bedroom (2 single beds), an en-suite shower and toilet with a double sleeper couch in the kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped with inside and outside braai.

CHALET 06
This chalet has one bedroom (double bed) with an en-suite shower and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with inside and outside braai.

CHALET 07
This chalet has one bedroom (double bed), and an en-suite shower and toilet with a double sleeper couch in the kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped with outside braai.

LUXURY DOUBLE ROOMS
These rooms are situated within the old farmhouse which has been renovated. The rooms do not have cooking facilities, but are equipped with a small fridge and coffee making facilities. Breakfast available on request at an extra cost.

THE OLD OPSTAL FLAT
This is also part of the old farmhouse which has been renovated. It has two bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 singles). A large lounge and a fully equipped kitchen with inside and outside braai.

WEDDINGS
Our chapel (Klipkerkie) can accommodate maximum 64 guests. Our beautiful lapa can be used for a ceremony with maximum 100 guests. We can provide for an outside ceremony for up to 120 guests in front of our chapel.

Our reception hall can accommodate 100 guests very comfortably. (120 max) We do all the catering for weddings and functions ourselves.

CAMPING
The camping area is situated between the vineyards on the banks of the Slanghoek Stream. The sites are equipped with electricity and water points and also have showers and toilet facilities in wooden huts.

There are 10 of these huts which are shared by 14 sites. On site you will find a big lawn, trampoline, swimming pool, horses and a typical farm dam with a boat and blue gill fishing for the family to enjoy (hot summer months may dry the dam).

The chalets, tented camp and lapa are about 600 metres from the camping area. Please bring a gazebo or sun umbrella as some of the sites do not have shade
