Tulbagh Country House is one of 32 National Monuments in historic 'Church Street'. Built in 1809, this gracious Cape Dutch House has been restored to original splendor. Great care has been taken to retain the authentic atmosphere of this lovely home with it's Yellow Wood floors & ceilings, antique furnishings and original artworks.
We offer spacious, en-suite bedrooms for B & B, including a two roomed family suite, as well as a self-catering house with four double rooms. Thick walls, keep the rooms cool in the Summer and cosy in the Winter. The full country breakfasts are enjoyed in the grand dining room. Dinners & picnic baskets available on request.
There are braai facilities on the premises and a choice of restaurants within easy walking distance.
SPACIOUS DOUBLE SUITE (B & B)
This spacious en-suite room has an outdoor entrance leading to a private patio. All rooms are furnished with a king size bed, anitiques and original art works, creating a magical atmosphere.
FAMILY DOUBLE SUITE (B & B)
The family suite consists of two inter-leading double rooms (one king, one twin) - with en-suite and seperate entrance. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities cozy self catering cottage situated in another historical building close by.
